Natural Water Slides

Welcome to NaturalWaterSlide.com and thanks for visiting! A natural water slide is a water slide that occurs in nature — where you can go kayaking, rafting or just sliding.

Make yourself at home on this site. We have an online community in our message board. See also our growing photo gallery. The photos are organized by continent, except Hawaii which appears with North America. Each photo has a description of the slide, directions to get there, and opportunity to sponsor that slide.

The slide sponsor will often be a business near the water slide, such as a bed & breakfast, hotel or restaurant.

An outing with family and friends, on the way to a slide, can be very rewarding and memorable. Often there will be opportunity to kayak, or fish. Many natural water slides do require some hiking.

Enjoy these locations and send us a note (or photo) about your experiences. If you like this site, please donate to defray website expenses. Enjoy the site, and thanks again!

Water Slide Safety

Take the proper precautions to ensure your own safety, and watch out for others, too.

Kilauea, Kauai, Hawaii

Do not drink and slide. Avoid the use of anything that might impair your judgment and swimming ability. If you do choose to drink, do so very moderately, and find a bed and breakfast that you can safely walk to, or include a designated driver.

Consult with locals as to the various dangers involved.

Wear a helmet, sunglasses and sunglasses strap, gloves, and any other safety gear you need.

Check out the entire water slide before going down it for the first time.

Do not endanger anyone's safety, including your own.

Showing Respect

Obey all laws, including respecting property, obtaining fishing or hunting licenses if you need them, and so on.

Ask locals if the public can use a particular water slide.

Be sure to leave everything in the same condition that you found it. Carry out all trash and dispose of it properly.

Don't forget to use our message board to add what you learn. Upload your photos, and support this site.
